What is Consignment?

The main difference between a consignment store and your local thrift store is that our inventory is not donated to us. Instead, it is consigned.  This means that every item in our on-line store belongs to someone else. We have a contract that states that to the best of our ability we are going to price and sell your gently used items. 

How does the pick-up process work?

You, the consignor, will make the appointment for what works best for you.  Due to issues that may come up during our drive, we will arrive within a 15-minute window – before or after set time.  The person consigning must be present at the time of pick-up so we can answer any questions they may have about our contract.

What areas do you pick up in?

We pick up in the following areas:  Lithia, Riverview, Bloomingdale, Valrico

What are you accepting currently? What sells the fastest?

We need everything- this is what makes consignment fun. Hands down, the fastest sellers that we can NEVER have too much of are Shoes & Purses!

Why can I not pick up my unsold items at the end of the consignment period?

Due to high volume, we do not offer returns on items that do not sell. Exceptions can be made for high-end items marked $75 or more. We will return these items to you for a return fee of $20.

Any item that does not sell will be donated to charity.  We have found this method to be easier for everyone involved and not a problem since most items sell within the 90-day period. Should an item sell outside of the 90-day mark we will still credit your account.

Can I consign if I live out of state?

Not currently.  We hope to offer this soon.

Do you only accept designer items?

We take in mid-level and high-end designer items. From Gap to Gucci and in between!  For a great reference, look at ‘We Accept the Following Brands’ and ‘We Do Not Accept’.

What sizes and departments do you specialize in?

Sizes we accept are as follows:

Ladies (2-14) Plus (16-28) Men’s (S-3XL) Children’s (2T-16) Infant (newborn to 24M) Maternity

How do I get paid?

Checks are issued on the first of the month for the previous month’s sales for accounts with a balance of $25 or more.  There is a $1.00 processing fee.

Consignors can check their balance online any time. 

As a consignor, can I use my credit for online purchases?

Sorry, we currently do not have that capability.

What type of items do you carry?

We carry current fashion within the last four years from your favorite mall brands, boutiques, and designers.  From Nike athletic wear to Donna Karan and Brahmin.

Do you carry men’s clothing?

YES!  Casual and business casual clothing.  This includes jeans, polos, sweaters and shoes.  Athletic wear is a great seller.

Do you consign wedding gowns & prom dresses?

No.

Do I need an appointment to consign?

Yes, you will need to make an appointment on our on-line calendar. See what day and time is best for you and we will pick up at your home.  Please make sure you read through our guidelines.  Items not meeting our guidelines for consignment will be donated to a local charity. 

Is there a limit on how many items I may consign?

There is no limit.  However, if you have more than 50 items, please let us know so we have the available space when we pick up.

Do you accept children’s clothing?

Yes, we accept children’s clothing sizes Infant to 16.  

How long do you consign items?

We have a 90-day contract period. 

What happens if my address changes?

Contact us and we will make the change in our system.  This is important so you receive money that is due to you.

How do you market the items that are for sale?

Our huge following on Facebook and other social media outlets brings constant exposure and customers to our online store.

How soon do the items go online?

We will get your items online as soon as possible.  Depending on pick-ups, this could take a week. 

What percentage am I paid for my items?

You, the consignor, will receive 50% of the selling price.  This does include sales & markdowns.  You can check your account balance online anytime. 

Do you accept returns?

No.  Since our items are sold on consignment and we post items to consignor’s accounts daily, we cannot accept returns or give refunds.
